I'm Brian, and I've been obsessed with water parks since I was a kid. I worked at Oceans of Fun in Kansas City as a teenager, spent every summer visiting parks across the country, and eventually built Water Parks World — the resource I wished existed when I was planning those trips.

I started this site back in 2011 because finding clear, honest information about a water park shouldn't require digging through ten different websites. Every park listing here is researched personally, every blog post is written from real experience or careful reporting, and every recommendation is something I'd give a friend.

When I review a park, I tell you what's actually fun, what's overhyped, and what to skip. When I compare two parks, I pick a winner instead of giving you a tepid 'they're both great.' That's the bar I hold myself to on every page.
