About Water Parks World

I'm Brian Williams, and I've been obsessed with water parks since I was a kid. I worked at one as a teenager, spent every summer visiting as many as I could, and eventually decided to build the resource I wished existed when I was planning those trips.

Water Parks World started back in 2011 as a simple directory. The idea was straightforward: if you want to find a water park near you, you shouldn't have to dig through ten different websites to get basic info like hours, prices, and whether they have a lazy river.

Since then, we've grown to cover over 1,000 water parks across all 50 states. We list outdoor mega parks, indoor resorts, hotel water parks, and even neighborhood splash pads. Every listing includes the details that actually matter when you're trying to plan a trip with your family.

We also publish daily articles about water parks. Park reviews, gear recommendations, safety tips, money-saving strategies, and news about new rides and openings. If it involves a water park, we probably write about it.
