What can my kid ride at a water park?
Tell us how tall your child is and we'll show you exactly which slides and rides they can go on — including the rides they can do with a supervising adult, which most guides leave out. No more checking a dozen park websites one ride at a time.
Currently covering 498 attractions across 38 verified water parks — and growing.
At 42" (3'6"), here's what your child can ride at 38 water parks we've verified so far:

How water park height rules work
- Solo minimum:the height a child must be to ride on their own. Most big drop and raft slides sit at 48".
- With a supervising adult:many parks let a shorter child ride if an adult rides too — often down to 42" or 36". This is the rule families miss most.
- Kids-area maximums:some toddler zones cap height (e.g. under 48") so big kids don't crowd the little ones.
- Heights are measured at the ride; a child right at the line should wear flat shoes to the measuring board. Always re-check at the park — rules change each season.
Every height here is sourced from the park's own published rules. Spot something out of date? Tell us and we'll verify it.
