The wave pool gets pretty crowded on weekends but the waves are strong enough to actually body surf. What I like about Rapids is that it doesn't try to be the biggest or flashiest park in South Florida, but everything they have works well. The lines move pretty quickly, even on busy days. Get there right when they open if you're visiting during summer or on weekends. The parking lot fills up fast and you'll want to claim a spot in the shade early. Bring reef-safe sunscreen because you'll need it - there's not as much covered area as some newer parks. The food is typical water park fare but reasonably priced for the area. If you've got a group, definitely look into their cabana rentals since finding chairs can be tough during peak times. This park works well for families with kids who can handle bigger slides, though they have enough gentler options to keep everyone happy.
