Disney's Blizzard Beach takes the concept of a ski resort hit by a freak Florida snowstorm and runs with it completely. The story goes that Disney tried to build a ski resort, but when the snow melted, they turned it into a water park instead. The theming is absolutely next level - you'll see ski lifts repurposed as chairlifts to the top of Mount Gushmore, melting snowmen, and rustic ski lodge architecture throughout.

Summit Plummet is the headline attraction and lives up to the hype. This 120-foot tall slide is one of the fastest and tallest free-fall body slides in the world. You literally plummet down what looks like a ski jump at speeds that'll make your stomach drop.

It's not for the faint of heart, but thrill seekers will love it. For families, the park really shines with its variety. Teamboat Springs is a fantastic family raft ride that can fit up to six people.

The lazy river (Cross Country Creek) winds around the entire park and includes a cave section that's perfect for cooling off. Tike's Peak is designed specifically for little ones with mini slides and water features scaled for toddlers. The Ski Patrol Training Camp hits that sweet spot for tweens and teens with challenging rope swings and slides.
