The lazy river here is one of the better ones I've experienced at Great Wolf properties - long enough to actually relax and not feel like you're just going in circles. Howlin' Tornado stands out as the signature thrill slide, a massive funnel that sends rafts swirling around the walls before dropping into the splash pool below. Younger kids gravitate toward Cub Paw Pool, a dedicated shallow area with mini slides and gentle water features.

The wave pool generates decent-sized waves every few minutes, though it can get packed during peak times. Beyond the water attractions, the resort adds extra entertainment with an arcade, mini golf, and their popular MagiQuest wand game that has kids running around the hotel solving quests. The theming throughout feels immersive with its North Woods cabin aesthetic and animatronic wolves that howl on schedule.

Food options inside the water park are limited to snack bars, but the resort has several restaurants. I'd recommend arriving right when the water park opens to claim spots near the main attractions, especially during busy seasons. The indoor setting means you don't need sunscreen, but the air can get humid.

Cabanas book up fast on weekends and provide a home base for larger families. This spot works best for families with kids under 12, though the bigger slides give teens something to do.
