The wave pool operates on a predictable schedule, so you can time your visits perfectly. Food options stick to the basics - burgers, pizza, nachos - but the prices are reasonable for a water park. The shaded seating areas are a lifesaver during Gilroy's hot summers, and there are enough lounge chairs that you don't have to race other families at opening time. Cabana rentals are worth it if you're visiting with a larger group or want guaranteed shade all day. Parking is free and plentiful, which is always appreciated. The park works best for families with kids under 12, though there's enough for teenagers to enjoy too. It's not going to wow thrill-seekers looking for extreme slides, but that's not really the point. This is solid, dependable family fun without the overwhelming crowds or premium prices of larger parks.
