The lazy river winds around most of the facility and moves at just the right pace - not too slow that you get bored, not so fast you can't relax. You'll float past some decent theming with artificial trees and swamp decorations that feel more charming than cheesy. The slide complex offers about six different options ranging from gentle family slides to a couple of legitimate thrill rides that'll get your heart pumping.

The kids' area is where this place really shines, with multiple water features, mini slides, and a massive tipping bucket that dumps water every few minutes to squeals of delight. It's designed well enough that parents can actually sit nearby and keep watch without getting soaked themselves. Arrive when they open if you can, especially on weekends, because it fills up fast and the slide lines get long. The locker rental is worth it since you'll want somewhere secure for your stuff. This isn't the biggest indoor water park in the Midwest, but it hits the sweet spot for families with elementary school-aged kids who want a full day of water fun without the overwhelming crowds of mega-resorts.
